Per line coupler an extension of the max. cable length of the bus system by up to 1,000m is possible.
The number of line coupler levels is limited to four. This means that a maximum of 4 line couplers may be connected in series, which means that the maximum theoretical cable length of a circuit is 5km (4 levels of 1,000m each + the 1,000m from the control center).
